What the new year brings

Note: This is a giant ramble so if you don’t want to read it, then move right along.

The year 2013 has the number thirteen in it so it can be assumed that it’s another sign of bad luck, right? Well for me, it seems that way; even though I don’t normally believe in those things. I have already been informed (as of last night) that this upcoming year will not be a good one due to the fact that I might not have a house.

Hearing the news that “we” (my dad and I) are going under is quite upsetting to me. It’s not that I didn’t expect it to happen, I just expected it to happen when I was out of school, when I actually had a job. I knew the day would come that I’d have to carry the responsibility of providing shelter for my dad and slowly helping him out of debt, but it wasn’t in my agenda for it to be really fucking soon. Not even a possible starter for the new year. But some people have the tendency to pro-long things.

This house has been the house in which I grew up in, so there’s a lot of childhood memories in these walls. All of that doesn’t make it easier to leave it. In fact, it makes it harder. I know that once no one is living in this house, it will be demolished and I will no longer be able to see the place I grew up in again.(I need to stop crying asap cause I have to be happy and not look like I cried when Chris gets here).I’ll only have memories and pictures to rely on.

My mom’s already telling me to pack my stuff up and go over there to live with her before shit gets worse. However, things are already chaotic over there and I wouldn’t have a room for myself. Not to mention I’d have to get rid of my cat(s). Which that’s also one of the hard things for me cause I’m attached to them. It all brings me back to the choice I had to make after high school: whether to live with my dad or live with my mom.

In addition, I have to start looking into student loans for the rest of my schooling. I won’t say how much I need, but it’s a shitload of money. I’m already stressed out about that because it’s money I don’t have and no one can give it to me. It’s me on my own for this school and I knew that getting in. It is a fancier school but really, it wouldn’t have mattered on which four-year school I selected- it all would’ve ended up with me having to get loans.

In all seriousness, I’m considering looking into apartments. I know that it won’t be easy and that I’d be living somewhat on my own, but so far it seems like the option where I will be the happiest. I’m already beginning to realize that the world isn’t exactly a nice place, and that it’s always been that way. So this is pretty much what the year 2013 brings to me (that is, if my dad can’t turn things around really soon). Now excuse me while I go jump in the shower and conceal my tears for a couple of minutes, try my best to put a smile on my face and not make it sound like I’m depressed.

If I were to go by this, I’d be passed out or dead. Just...

This year, I’ve been spoiled rotten. The photo was one of the many Christmas gifts I got from the boyfriend(sorry if I haven’t posted in a while, there’s really nothing to say). It’s a little bit different from this with the factor that there’s a bit of white on the edges to resemble the Zelda heart (and it was handmade). But both him and I share a half and when you put it together, well you get the result on the top. We’re both kinda nerdy so it works really well.

He also got me two pairs of boots (black and brown), two sweaters, an I-pod, and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Some of those gifts I was ready to rip off his head considering that they aren’t exactly cheap. As for the boots, the brown ones kind of look like Link’s boots so now I want to cosplay as a female version of Link (I already have the real master sword, the ocarina, and some facial features). And I’m absolutely desperate to play Skyrim but it’s over at his house considering that he had it ordered in and it just so happened to be delivered the day after I left -.-’ not to mention he has the PS3. So he’s thinking about coming over for a day just to give me the game or else I will go nuts.

I will officially say that I am a brat cause he can’t see this ^_^

Okay, so I’m most likely going to the NYC comic-con and I’m probably going to be Eva from Metal Gear Solid 3. My boyfriend’s probably going as Snake (which he can pull off extremely well). Which means, we’re going to be cosplaying as a couple! A butt-kicking couple as a matter of fact. I’m a lion striking its prey and I will get it, as well as do it correctly.

My prey is a present for my beloved boyfriend, who is by all means a party-pooperas well as a punk-butt. He doesn’t want me to get him a present, which then leads to him not telling me what he wants. So now I get to go through hell to just find him something. Well, lets just say I have an idea what to get him but it’s going to be tricky due to these circumstances:

A) He’ll be really mad at me

B) It requires monnies. Bucket loads of monnies.

But he’s REALLY going to like it so it’s totally worth it even if he gets pissed at me. He’ll smile after being a grumpy-face.
